A 49-year-old man, Fotis Menelaou from Argaka, died at the Nicosia General Hospital’s ICU on Tuesday four days after he was transferred from Paphos with serious injuries caused in a quad bike accident.
According to police reports, Menelaou lost control of the quad bike he was driving in Argaka on Saturday, flying off his seat when the bike crashed into the barrier at the side of the road.
He was transferred to the Paphos hospital but due to his critical condition he was brought to the Nicosia Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
